Testimonials
Having worked with a number of organisations during my time on Youtube, here are a few quotes from those I have worked with.
Myles made quite an impact with the Foreign Office Digital Diplomacy Group. He said he wanted to learn about what we did, but we learned just as much from him. Myles was very generous with his advice, sharing his impressive experiences of building online communities. But what impressed me more than anything else was his confidence to to get stuck into the detail. Myles is the embodiment of his strongly held ethos. Some of our diplomats could learn from his open and fearless approach.

Attesting to the brilliance of open intellectual communities, Myles Dyer generously donated his time to a Global Initiatives project in San Francisco. The audience of over 70 students interacted with him via video conference and were wowed by the experience. It was a pleasure to work with him. I look forward to more scintillating conversations with him in the future.

We enlisted Myles’ help on a project we did for UK children’s charity Barnardos. The project aim was to engage with and give a voice to teenage Britain through social networking sites. Myles’ knowledge and experience was imperative to the success of this project. The project went on to be hugely successful and was seen by well over 100,000 people. Myles’ work ethic is none stop, he is always thinking about the bigger picture. Myles’ brain is a brain of the future and he will no doubt go onto achieving big things. It was a pleasure to work with him.

I met Myles at a conference type thing at the BBC and was faced with an almost sheer learning curve. Having knocked about in the media industry in various guises for too long to remember, it was wonderfully refreshing and exciting to meet someone who is so inspired, optimistic and creative. I love what he’s doing with video, it’s made me re-think the medium and I believe it can only be for the better.

Myles Dyer has brought social networking to a whole new level. I have no doubt that one day soon, he will be named King of the World Wide Web.

We think Stickaid is absolutely brilliant. Myles has come up with a fresh idea that is really fun and clearly very popular because he have raised an incredible £20,000 for UNICEF’s work with children. All too often, young people in the UK and abroad are not given a voice and their rights are denied, but with help from our supporters we can put it right. Stickaid shows that young people often have the best ideas when it comes to raising money in exciting ways and I’d like to say a massive thanks to Myles and Charlie for helping us make a huge difference for children.
